About This Product

This roller is designed to operate for more than 30,000 hours (8 hours x 265 days x 14 years) in any usage environment. The rollers start with minimal resistance and have low rotational friction resistance. Its long life not only greatly reduces the frequency of roller replacement and reduces maintenance work, but also has a robust structure that can withstand large conveyance loads, and is ATEX (explosion-proof/fire-proof certified) certified. It's a safe/safety roller.

■Long life, energy saving/maintenance saving

PSV rollers are designed to maximize bearing life. 1) The bearing is protected by a double labyrinth seal (labyrinth seal) and wiper seal (V ring) to prevent dust/sludge from entering the bearing. 2) Grease prevents dust/moisture ingress and provides long-term lubrication to the bearings. 3) The inner and outer rings of the bearing are supported by the shaft and housing with a semi-tight fit, minimizing damage to the bearing due to the load of conveyed objects. 4) The housing that holds the tube and bearing is a welded integral structure, making it sturdy.

■Long lifespan proof data

Case studies at water treatment centers and paper mills have shown that the PSV roller exceeds the standards of rollers from other companies in Japan, but test data on a 900W conveyor line that operates at a high speed of 300m/min 24 hours a day shows that , started collecting data in 2001 and now (2015) Approximately 15 years have passed since then, but only one Larmeca PSV roller has stopped spinning, and the other 29 are still spinning.

■ATEX certified products

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), which governs the world's common standards for electrical equipment, has standardized safety standards for explosion-proof electrical equipment as the IEC60079 series. PSV roller is 1) No static electricity is charged, so no static sparks are generated. 2) Since the temperature does not exceed 85℃ during normal rotation, it is certified as a product that can be used under each level specified by ATEX. PSV rollers are "safe and secure rollers" that will not become a source of ignition in the unlikely event of a conveyor fire or explosion.
