About This Product

■Features

NOKTON D23mm F1.2 Aspherical Z mount is a large-diameter standard lens compatible with APS-C size (Nikon DX format) mirrorless cameras that uses Nikon Z mount. Adopts the latest optical system consisting of 10 elements in 6 groups, including 1 double-sided aspherical lens and 2 anomalous partial dispersion glasses. Although it has a large aperture of F1.2, it has excellent resolving power even when the aperture is wide open, and produces great bokeh.

■Designed exclusively for Nikon Z mount

Implements an optical system optimized for image sensors of mirrorless cameras that use Nikon Z mount. This lens has an APS-C size image circle and can be used with a full-frame camera by setting the camera's imaging range to DX format.

■Information communication with the body using electronic contacts

The lens mount is equipped with electronic contacts to enable electrical communication between the lens and the body. The combination of a telecommunications compatible body and the latest firmware provides Exif information, in-body image stabilization (3 axes), and 3 types of focusing support functions (focusing by changing focus point frame color, focusing by peaking, magnification) (Focusing using buttons) is supported.

■Manual focus for reliable focus operation

The use of an all-metal helicoid unit that has been machined and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces an appropriate amount of torque provides focusing with a smooth operating feel. This allows for delicate focus adjustments.

■Beautiful bokeh created by 12 aperture blades

In order to make the hole formed by the aperture blades more circular, a 12-element aperture is used. Out-of-focus areas are rendered naturally, and point light sources are not polygonal, but have a round, soft bokeh.

■Minimum shooting distance 0.18m

Achieves close-up magnification of 1:4.9 (1:3.3 in full-frame equivalent). The close-up shooting effect produces a large amount of bokeh, expanding the possibilities of taking advantage of bokeh at maximum aperture.

■Compact and lightweight style

Although it has a large diameter of F1.2, it has a compact style with a filter diameter of 46 mm, total length of 45.2 mm, and weight of 240 g. The beautifully designed exterior is reminiscent of the good old days, making it easy to handle and carry around.
