About This Product

■Features

SUPER WIDE-HELIAR 15mm F4.5 Aspherical Z mount is an ultra-wide-angle lens compatible with full-frame (Nikon FX format) mirrorless cameras that uses Nikon Z mount. Although it has an ultra-wide angle of view of 110° (diagonal), it has extremely low distortion and provides sharp images right up to the edges of the screen. It has a short minimum shooting distance of 0.126m, and can be used with square filters, making it a versatile lens.

■Designed exclusively for Nikon Z mount

Implements an optical system optimized for image sensors of mirrorless cameras that use Nikon Z mount. This lens has a full-size image circle and can be used with both full-size (Nikon FX format) mirrorless cameras and APS-C size (Nikon DX format) mirrorless cameras.

■Information communication with the body using electronic contacts

The lens mount is equipped with electronic contacts to enable electrical communication between the lens and the body. The combination of a telecommunications compatible body and the latest firmware provides Exif information, in-body image stabilization (3 axes), and 3 types of focusing support functions (focusing by changing focus point frame color, focusing by peaking, magnification) (Focusing using buttons) is supported.

■Manual focus for reliable focus operation

The use of an all-metal helicoid unit that has been machined and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces an appropriate amount of torque provides focusing with a smooth operating feel. This allows for delicate focus adjustments.

■The shortest shooting distance that allows you to get close to the subject

The shortest shooting distance is 0.126m (magnification 0.25), and the working distance is 4cm from the tip of the hood. Since you can get close to even small objects, you can enjoy creating images that take advantage of the intense sense of perspective that is unique to ultra-wide-angle lenses.

■Suitable for various filter works

In addition to being able to attach a φ58mm filter without a special adapter, the metal flower-shaped hood can be attached and detached using a flathead screwdriver. Because of this, it can be used for a variety of filter work using square filters, which are often used in landscape photography.
