About This Product

■Features

Nocton 17.5mm F0.95 is a wide-angle lens designed exclusively for Micro Four Thirds. It has a wide angle of view with a diagonal of 64.6° (equivalent to a 35mm lens in 35mm format), and an aperture of 0.95, which provides amazing brightness. By using an aspherical lens, sharp images can be obtained even when the aperture is wide open.

■Surprisingly large diameter

The large aperture with an open F value of 0.95 allows you to take photos with only ``light as it is'' even in extremely low light conditions. It is also an ideal lens for taking advantage of shallow focus and beautiful bokeh when the aperture is wide open.

■Ultimate lens design

A lens configuration of 13 elements in 9 groups designed using the latest optical theory. Pursuing depiction performance by adopting ultra-high refractive glass and aspherical lenses. Even with the aperture wide open, there is enough light to reach the edges of the screen.

■The shortest shooting distance is 0.15m

It is possible to take pictures from as close as 15cm from the camera's image sensor. With a shooting magnification of 1:4, you can enjoy shooting that takes advantage of the character of an ultra-large aperture macro lens.

■Various expressive power

When the aperture is wide open, the gentle, gentle bokeh highlights the in-focus motif and creates a three-dimensional effect. When stopped down, the image becomes extremely sharp, allowing for a wide variety of photographic expressions with just one lens.

■Aperture click switching mechanism

The aperture click switching mechanism allows the aperture ring to be opened and closed steplessly without producing any click noise. This eliminates the need to worry about picking up the operation sound of the aperture ring when recording videos, and also allows for severe depth control by finely adjusting the aperture ring.

■Micro Four Thirds dedicated mount

Compliant with Micro Four Thirds standards, with specially designed optics and mechanisms. In addition to covering the image size of the image sensor, it achieves high image quality by optimizing it for Micro Four Thirds sensors.

■Manual focus for reliable focus operation

The use of an all-metal helicoid unit that has been machined and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces an appropriate amount of torque provides focusing with a smooth operating feel. This allows for delicate focus adjustments.
