About This Product

■Features

NOKTON 75mm F1 .5 Aspherical RF mount is a large aperture medium telephoto lens compatible with full-frame mirrorless cameras that uses Canon RF mount. Although it has a large aperture of F1.5, it is both compact and high performance. By using an aspherical lens, it exhibits excellent descriptive power even when the aperture is wide open.

■Designed exclusively for Canon RF mount

Implements an optical system optimized for image sensors of mirrorless cameras that use Canon RF mount. This lens has a full-frame image circle and can be used with both full-frame and APS-C size mirrorless cameras.

■Information communication with the body using electronic contacts

The lens mount is equipped with electronic contacts to enable electrical communication between the lens and the body*1. When combined with a Canon EOS R system body, it supports Exif information, in-body image stabilization (axis) *2, and three types of focus assist functions (enlarged display, peaking, focus guide *3).

■Manual focus for reliable focus operation

The use of an all-metal helicoid unit that has been machined and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces an appropriate amount of torque provides focusing with a smooth operating feel. This allows for delicate focus adjustments.

■Minimum aperture that can be set up to F32

Although it is a large aperture lens with an open aperture of F1.5, the minimum aperture can be set up to F32. At the maximum aperture of F1.5, you can enjoy a large blur, while at the minimum aperture of F32, it is also possible to get deep focus.

■Beautiful bokeh created by 12 aperture blades

In order to make the hole formed by the aperture blades more circular, a 12-element aperture is used. Out-of-focus areas are rendered naturally, and point light sources are not polygonal, but have a round, soft bokeh.


■Aperture click switching mechanism

The aperture ring has a click switching mechanism that allows you to open and close the aperture steplessly without being affected by clicks, such as when shooting videos or adjusting the depth of focus. *1 Since the aperture value on the user interface of the Canon EOS R system is expressed in 1/3 step, the Exif information other than the lens name will display the aperture value as "F1.6". *2 Only valid for bodies equipped with in-body image stabilization function. *3Excluding EOS RP.
