In addition to ID management/SSO functions and log management functions, stronger authentication is possible by combining multi-factor authentication including unique location information authentication, third-party authentication, and periodic authentication. In addition, it is possible to grasp information about who is using what cloud service, when, where, and what kind of cloud service is being used, enabling safe and secure ID management of cloud services. ◼︎Features ・Location information authentication This function allows authentication when logging into a service only if the employee's location is within a pre-approved area such as within Japan, prefecture, coordinates and radius. You can block logins not only from overseas but also from places other than your place of work or residence, making it possible to strengthen authentication. ・Third party certification This function allows authentication if a third party, such as a superior who has been set as an approver, approves. If you use a cloud service that requires permission from your superior, such as when handling confidential information, you can obtain approval from your superior. It is also possible to set the number of approvals required for authentication by multiple people. By performing third-party authentication, it is possible to protect against attacks that attempt to break through multi-factor authentication. ・Regular certification This function regularly checks the location information of employees and prompts them to authenticate with the application at regular intervals. Authentication strength can be increased by understanding employee location information and disconnecting cloud services that are not in use. ・Passkey authentication Improved convenience is realized by using a passkey for passwordless authentication. It also strengthens security by reducing the risk of your credentials being easily misused by a third party by using a password. ・Certificate issuing function You can issue and revoke certificates from StartIn. (One certificate is included as a standard feature) It is possible to allow access only to devices that hold the certificate and prevent access from devices that do not hold the certificate.
