About This Product

■SummaryThis device is a small type of measuring device that continuously measures the ion concentration in the air and measures the number of molecular ions called "small ions." Unlike simple ion counters that can only measure low concentrations, this is a "full-fledged ion counter" that achieves "high concentration" and "high accuracy." It uses the "Gerdien method of measuring" certified by JIS standard (B9929) and can measure up to 50 million pieces/mm3.
 
In addition, it is equipped with a measurement correction function based on air volume, so it can be quantified with "more accurate values." This prevents underestimation, such as ``performance should be better...'' and overestimation, such as ``producing a value higher than expected and damaging trust.''

■Suitable for high concentrations. Can measure up to 50 million piecesEven in the quiet (weak) mode of the negative ion generator, about 1 million ions can be counted. In the case of strong mode, a larger number of particles are counted, so a counter that can only measure low concentrations cannot be used. The measurement range of this device is wide, up to 50 million particles/cm3, so it can be used for serious research that requires high concentration measurement.

■Achieves high accuracy- Adopts a double cylindrical type (Geldien type condenser type), and since the sensor is cylindrical, ideal laminar flow* can be achieved. *A flow in which fluid moves in an orderly manner.
・If the amount of air sucked is small, the count value will vary, but since this device has a large flow rate of 37.5ℓ/min, it is possible to give a more accurate value.
