About This Product

■SummaryAutomate size inspection pass/fail judgment based on pre-set lumber standard sizes to prevent defective products from being sent out. By scanning with a laser every 2 mm seconds, it measures the width and thickness of the lumber, and at the same time detects hits and misses on both ends*. *Hit and miss: Uncut parts (parts where Planar's milling is not 100%). In the current specifications, the measurement is performed at a point 10cm from both ends, but the measurement location can be changed.

If you use "WooDiL", you can quickly inspect all products to improve quality, which could not be covered by sampling inspection (sample inspection) until now.

■ Improve quality by reliably sending non-conforming materials offlineBy setting the standard size of lumber in advance, pass/fail judgment is automatically made on the production line, and rejected lumber is sent offline.

■Automatic measurement of lumber width and thickness eliminates labor shortages and improves productivityBy changing from random inspections by inspectors (sample inspections) to on-line automation, it is possible to inspect all products and eliminate labor shortages. Even faster inspections can be achieved.

■Hit and miss detection possible at the same timeAt the same time as measuring, check that there are no hits and misses in the lumber. *The current specifications measure the position approximately 10cm from the edge. The measurement position can be changed.

■Can be installed on the sawmill lineWe will be as flexible as possible in making proposals that can be installed on existing lines to suit the customer's site.

■Measurement details・Size defects: Use the “most frequently occurring value” as the wood dimension and compare it with the acceptance standard value.
・Hit and miss at both ends: Compare the dimensions at both ends* with the acceptance standard value
*According to the current specifications, the measurement is approximately 10cm from the edge. The measurement position can be changed.
