About This Product

Minimizes carbon dioxide loss. We have adopted ``continuous mild heating technology'' as a new idea that overcomes the drawbacks of boiler heating and overturns the common sense of ``gas escape during the heating process.''

■Actual situation of carbonated springs in Japan

In Japan, the effective use of natural carbonated springs has not yet progressed. In recent years, carbonated springs have become popular for drinking, but carbonated springs are made by artificially dissolving carbon dioxide gas in hot spring facilities and are gaining popularity as carbonated hot springs. However, compared to natural carbonated springs, there are differences in the quality of the springs. The reasons why the use of natural carbonated springs has not progressed are as follows.

■Carbon dioxide gas disappears when heated

90% of carbonated springs in Japan are cold carbonated springs with a temperature of around 18 to 30 degrees, so when heated, most of the free carbon dioxide gas escapes and the spring becomes a normal hot spring.

■Geyser with unstable flow rate

Natural carbonated springs often produce geysers due to rare gas elements in addition to free carbon dioxide gas, and because the gas and source come out together, the flow rate is unstable.

■There was no way to heat it

The carbonated spring heating system (carbo warmer) was devised because there was no way to heat the water to 36°C to 40°C while suppressing outgassing. Mr. Urakawa, CEO of Cider Kyushu Co., Ltd., which is promoting research and popularization of carbonated springs, found in a hot water bath experiment that by slowly heating the water, even when heated to 20 degrees, the loss of carbon dioxide gas could be suppressed to about 20%. We have obtained a patent for "continuous heating method that minimizes gas leakage." Later, in collaboration with Aqua System Co., Ltd., we developed a fully automatic heating device called ``Carbo Warmer'' that can be installed in actual hot spring facilities, and obtained a utility model registration. By heating high-concentration carbonated mineral springs with this device, you can create bubbles of carbon dioxide gas even in a bathtub with 100% natural hot spring water. Furthermore, because it does not come into contact with air at all during the heating process, it remains a reduced spring without being oxidized. With this, high-concentration carbonated cold mineral springs throughout the country that could not be used for hot baths can be turned into "treasure hot springs.
