About This Product

For 25 years, NEP-AWS has been conducting research to improve mist eliminators by making full use of the latest DOP test technology. The simple principle behind mesh pads is that when gas containing mist passes through the mesh, the mist gets caught on the mesh and remains there. Even if the mesh density is the same, mist collection performance will vary depending on the wire diameter, number of layers, weaving condition, and material. The subject of research was how to collect it efficiently. Under proper process conditions, the Mesh Pad Mist Eliminator can remove up to 99.9 wt % of mist in gas.

■Example of using NEP-AWS wire mesh

・Knockout drum and separator: Reduced container size reduces costs and prevents clogging, reducing compressor maintenance costs. ・Absorber: Reduces the amount of glycol loss in gas dryers to less than 0.0013m³ per 1,000,000m³ of natural gas, and prevents the loss of oil and amine, which are adsorbents. ・Scrubber: Reduces chemical loss to less than 0.11 kg per ton of dry pulp in paper manufacturing equipment. That is, the accompanying particles are efficiently captured and the collection efficiency is increased. ・Improving product purity and increasing production volume in petrochemical, organic chemical, pharmaceutical industries, etc. ・Evaporator: Prevents associated loss and keeps condensate below 10ppm. ・High-pressure steam boiler: Reduces the amount of condensate entrained to 10 ppm or less, reducing wear and tear on turbine blades. ・Oil refinery towers: Increased flow rate/catalyst protection. Prevents deterioration of catalyst performance due to carbon and heavy metal adhesion on downstream equipment due to liquid entrainment during low-quality crude oil refining.
