About This Product

Until now, in systems with concentrated sulfuric acid and high temperatures, the pad of the mist eliminator is braided with thin wires, and the mist, which is larger than the gas, is captured by collision with the thin wires due to inertia and a blocking effect. In order to increase capture efficiency, it is necessary to increase the probability of collision/interruption by increasing the layer thickness. On the other hand, hot concentrated sulfuric acid is extremely corrosive, and SUS316 and Alloy20 will corrode in a short period of time. Particularly thin wire rods have no corrosion allowance, so even if there is only 0.1 mm/year of corrosion, they cannot last for one year. The problem is that if you experience a system abnormality, even for a short period of time, such as a sudden rise in temperature or temperature fluctuations, it can cause major damage, especially to thin wires.
