About This Product

A motion analysis system developed for the medical field and human sciences. Our technical team, who has been involved in the development of medical devices for over 20 years, has developed this system to meet the needs of medical settings, and it is a human-friendly system that is easy for both operators and patients. Due to the high speed and high functionality of the ICpro series, sales have been discontinued. (March 2012)

■Summary

"MMpro-3D" is part of the "MedicalMotionProcess series" of motion analysis systems for the medical and human science fields, developed with a new concept of "a high-cost performance system that combines easy operation and full-scale functions." It is a three-dimensional movement system. This two-camera three-dimensional motion analysis system maintains the easy operability of the highly acclaimed two-dimensional motion analysis system, but has a rich set of functions comparable to conventional high-priced systems. It can be comfortably used not only for research purposes but also in clinical settings.

■1.No special equipment required

The system consists of a laptop computer and two standard home video cameras. No special equipment or computer expansion boards are required. All necessary items such as static calibrators and dynamic calibrators are included as accessories, so there is no need for additional options.

■2.Very easy to operate

It uses an input method centered on mouse operations, so even those who are not familiar with computer operations can take measurements with very simple operations. There is no need for troublesome and time-consuming advance preparation, and there is no need for training on system operation. The instruction manual is also well-received as being extremely easy to understand, with a full-color layout that uses numerous diagrams and charts.

■3. Adoption of MPEG2 format reduces data capacity while providing high image quality.

The MPEG2 format is used as the image display method, so the image quality is good and the image size is larger than the conventional AVI format, although the data capacity is only about 10% smaller.

■4.Very easy setup, no need for a dedicated measurement room

To set up the system, simply set up two video cameras fixed on tripods at any angle, and there is no need for detailed positioning or time-consuming calibration work.
