ZANGETSU (Tilt Angle Monitoring System) uses a long-life power supply that combines low-power, stable communication and small solar cells to operate stably even in cold regions of -30℃ and measures changes in tilt angle with high precision.

If there is an abnormality, it will notify the administrator, so the administrator can monitor multiple measurement points without having to go to the site, making it possible to prevent major accidents that could lead to loss of life, such as bridge collapses or landslides. . Stable operation
■Long-life battery allows stable measurement even in cold regionsThe newly developed MEMS sensor has an energy harvesting circuit that uses a small solar cell (125mm x 125mm) to extend its lifespan by 5 years. Assuming use in mountainous areas in cold regions, we have conducted research and development with the aim of reducing variations in measurement data and ensuring stable operation even in environments between -30°C and 60°C. As a result, maintenance only requires battery replacement in conjunction with bridge inspections.

■Stable LoRa communication even in mountainous areasBy installing LTE communication equipment as a gateway within the communication range of the LoRa communication system (within 15 km from the monitoring point), measurement data can be recorded to a cloud server via the Internet without being lost, even in uninhabited mountainous areas.

■Measures minute tilt changes of ±0.01° and detects warning signsIt monitors with high accuracy minute changes in slope angle due to deformation of bridge piers and abutments, and changes in slopes that are at risk of collapse due to localized heavy rain, etc., and detects signs of disaster (sending alerts via warning email). Disaster mitigation measures such as road closures can be taken before major damage occurs.

■Reducing the effects of vehicle vibrationThe measurement accuracy is improved by using digital dampers and digital filters to measure the effects of bridge vibrations that occur when the vehicle is running, and by removing unnecessary data for judgment.

■Threshold judgmentSafety thresholds and email frequency can be freely set based on bridge technology. To prevent erroneous transmission, data that is not continuous will not be transmitted.
