About This Product

The world's only solder that attaches to glass. It has a proven track record of more than 50 years since its development, and is used in a variety of applications around the world. An ultrasonic soldering device, Sunbonder, is required to bond Cerasolzer.

■Product featuresSpecial solder Cerasolza is the world's first special solder that can be attached to glass. There is a leaded type "Cerasolza" and a lead-free type "Cerasolza Eco". The Cerasolza series uses uniquely formulated ingredients and ultrasonic soldering technology to achieve bonding to glass and ceramics that was impossible with conventional soldering. (*Ultrasonic soldering requires our ultrasonic soldering device Sunbonder.)

It is possible to join metals that are considered difficult to solder, such as aluminum, tungsten, molybdenum, and titanium. In addition, the cavitation effect of ultrasonic waves activates the molten solder surface and removes the oxide film, allowing fluxless soldering.

・No special treatment (vapor deposition, high temperature) required on the material surface
・No-flux soldering is possible due to the cavitation effect caused by ultrasonic soldering.
・Can be joined to most difficult-to-solder materials
・Reduction of void (depletion)
・Solder melting point can be selected from a lineup of 155 to 297 degrees

■Typical functions・Glass/ceramic bonding We have made it possible to bond materials that were considered impossible to solder.
・Stainless Steel Soldering Stainless steel can be joined just like normal soldering. No qualifications such as welding are required.
・Superconducting wire soldering We have made it possible to solder superconducting wires such as niobium titanium alloy used in MRI and linear motors.
