Features

■Covering wideband from 10kHz to 3GHz including digital with various modes

Covers a wide reception range from 10kHz to 3GHz (excluding some frequency bands) with a minimum of 1Hz step. Radio wave formats are compatible with USB/LSB, CW, FSK, AM, and FM/WFM. This is a wideband receiver with functions that can not only receive audio but also measure signal strength. It also supports reception of digital waves. In addition to the digital communication methods D-STAR® and Digital Convenience Radio (DCR) recommended by the Japan Amateur Radio Federation, it also supports reception of dPMR®, NXDN®, and P25.

■All demodulation processing circuits are realized by software processing.

FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) +DSP is used for the demodulation processing circuit. In addition to demodulating the HF band using the RF direct sampling method, the analog signal converted to an IF frequency of 46.35 MHz is quickly converted to a digital signal using a 14-bit A/D converter, and various reception modes are supported by software processing. In addition, by setting the sampling frequency of the A/D converter as high as 122.88MHz, we have achieved a configuration that is advantageous for loopback and image reception.

■Achieves both high level reception sensitivity and multi-signal characteristics

An 11-split bandpass filter is used at the front end of the HF band, and a 13-split bandpass filter is used for the V/UHF band. It also achieves high multi-signal characteristics while maintaining high sensitivity.

■Large capacity memory (2,000ch+400ch)

Equipped with a large capacity of 2,000ch as normal memory. Not only frequencies, but also modes and tuning steps can be memorized, as well as tones, antenna settings (HF), P.AMP, ATT, and IP+. In addition to being able to write a title using kanji for excellent visibility in each memory channel, it is also possible to divide the memory into 100 groups. In addition, 50 sets of 100 channels are available for program scan edge storage. You can also register memory from a PC using the optional CS-R8600.
