About This Product

Features

■Class D DSC compatible international VHF radio equipped with wireless LAN function

By installing the free app RS-M500 (iOS®/Android®), you will be able to operate the IC-M510J and make calls from your smartphone. Up to 3 smartphones can be linked to each unit. You can also make intercom calls between the IC-M510J and your smartphone. *Excluding general DSC function operations To use it, a radio operator qualification (2nd class marine special radio operator or above) is required.

■Equipped with AIS reception function

In addition to the built-in AIS receiver, the movements of other ships received by external AIS receivers and transponders can be displayed on the screen in real time. It is also possible to make individual calls to AIS-equipped vessels displayed on the screen.

■Easy-to-read color display

It is equipped with a large color display that has a viewing angle of almost 180 degrees. In addition, with one touch, you can change to night mode, which makes it easier to see at night or in twilight.

■Slim design

The depth is very slim at 53.6mm, making it easy to mount. It also has a smart design that is suitable for both stationary and recessed installations.

■Simple navigation function

Equipped with a simple navigation function that guides you to selected waypoints and AIS targets. You can register up to 100 waypoints.

■Large volume and clear audio

Equipped with a loud speaker for peace of mind even in noisy environments. Despite being waterproof, it delivers powerful and clear audio regardless of the range. It also has an active noise canceling function for transmitting and receiving.

■Interface between NMEA2000™ equipment and Haler

By connecting this unit and the interface box CT-M500 (sold separately) via wireless LAN, you can input and output location information and AIS to external devices that support NMEA2000™. You can also connect a loudspeaker to the CT-M500 and use the RX Haler, Haler, and whistle functions*. Separate external speakers are required.
