■Simple AIS reception function
Since it is portable and easy to carry, you can obtain information on ships navigating the surrounding waters (ship name, position, speed, course, length, width, etc.) and always have it at hand. By monitoring the movements of other ships in real time on the screen, you can prevent dangers when navigating at night, in intricate bays, or in crowded shipping lanes.
Furthermore, even in situations where you cannot confirm the name of a ship you encounter at sea or at a distance, you can easily select the ship on the screen using the AIS target function and call it individually using the DSC function.
■CLASS H compatible DSC function
In the event of an emergency or distress, you can send a distress call (distress signal) from the DISTRESS button on the back, automatically notifying nearby ship stations and coast stations that you are in distress and your ship's location information. This portable model is useful in situations where a stationary model cannot be used, such as flooding, fire, or battery trouble. In addition, it is possible to request/receive location information and make individual/group/all-at-once calls using the DSC function.
■Equipped with a simple navigation system
The simple navigation system allows you to register up to 50 waypoints, such as your favorite fishing spots or the starting position of a yacht race. Even on the ocean where there are no roads, you can navigate the shortest distance to the set waypoint. It is also equipped with a compass function that allows you to know the position, speed, and direction of your ship, as well as a function that records the location of MOB (person overboard) and provides guidance.
■Large volume of 1,500mW that is easy to hear
Equipped with a loud speaker with approximately 1,500mW. We have achieved clear audio that is easy to hear even under noisy conditions such as engine noise and wind noise.
■Can be operated continuously for long periods of time
With the included battery pack, we have achieved a high output of 5W and long-time operation of about 10 hours*. The battery is removable and replaceable, so having a spare battery available will allow you to operate for a longer period of time.
