About This Product

Features

■No license or qualification required

IC-4188D is a specified low power transceiver that can be used without any license or qualification, so it can be installed immediately after purchase.

■Supports all call methods: simultaneous, relay, and alternating

In addition to relay and alternate communication that allows you to contact many people at once, it also supports simultaneous calls that allow you to talk in real time like a telephone. It is a communication tool that can be used flexibly depending on the purpose and location.

■Various simultaneous calls possible

For simultaneous calls, it is equipped with a 1-to-N call function that allows simultaneous calls between the base unit and multiple handsets, and a pseudo three-way call function that allows other handsets to monitor simultaneous calls between the base unit and handsets. It can be used in various situations.

■Can also be used as a portable relay device

By setting the IC-4188D to repeater mode, it can be used as a repeater that can be carried outdoors. It is useful when making relay calls over a wider area or in places where AC power is not available. Also, by connecting two IC-4188D units with a separately sold cable, it can also function as a linked repeater. For example, by relaying cables to places where there are iron doors or other objects that are difficult for radio waves to pass through, it becomes possible to transmit information in places where radio waves are difficult to reach.

■Large volume of 450mW or more

Equipped with a speaker that achieves audio output of 450mW or more. The volume is high enough to make relay calls and alternate calls easy even in noisy environments.

■Uses long antenna

Adopts a long type antenna for stable calls. Creates a comfortable call environment where audio can be heard over a wide range and is less likely to be interrupted.

■Can be powered from AC power or cigarette socket

In addition to AA alkaline batteries and lithium-ion battery packs, it can be powered from AC power or a cigarette socket by using an optional power adapter. You can make calls or use it as a relay device without worrying about battery life.
