About This Product

Polyurea is a resin material produced by collision-mixing isocyanate components and amine components at the gun tip under high temperature and pressure using a reactor. The resin adheres to the substrate in an instant chemical reaction and hardens within seconds. Polyurea is a new material that has been attracting attention in recent years due to its toughness, waterproofness, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and excellent extensibility. Polyurea is said to be an evolution of polyurethane, but the major difference is that it does not hydrolyze. It is also an environmentally friendly material as it is VOC-free and solvent-free. Base materials coated with polyurea can maintain strong physical properties for a long time. Polyurea is usually used in a thickness of 2 to 3 mm, but it can be made to a thickness of 0.4 mm to several tens of mm. Polyurea was invented in the United States and is also used in the fuel tanks of U.S. military helicopters and the exterior walls of the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon). Rhino Lining has more than 2,000 distributors in 80 countries and has established itself as the world's top polyurea manufacturer.
