About This Product

■Product overview

JP Joint is a mechanical joint that is compatible with cross-linked polyethylene pipes and polybutene pipes, which are collectively called resin pipes. JP Joint (Press Joint) is a global system that was developed in Sweden and Germany and has spread to dozens of countries around the world. In Europe, where resin pipes were first developed, this is the mainstream joining method. Currently, the joining methods for resin pipes in Japan are the nut tightening type or the one-touch type, but there are concerns that the water-tightness is unreliable and that they are expensive. JP Joint has a proven track record cultivated in Europe, has a special tightening tool, has high water-stopping properties, and is made of stainless steel, yet offers overwhelming cost benefits. Currently, our products are widely used for water supply and hot water supply, mainly in public housing, condominiums, and renovation projects.

■Structure

Made entirely of stainless steel (SUS304) Heat-resistant butyl rubber (IIR) is attached to the curled part at the end of the fitting body.In addition, an in-core is attached to increase the pull-out strength.Pipe ( By inserting the applicable pipe into the fitting body to the appropriate position and pressing it with a special tightening tool, uniform and sufficient strength and watertightness can be obtained.

■Features

JP Joint, a stainless steel fitting, has the following features: Compatible with JIS standard cross-linked polyethylene pipes and polybutene pipes, suitable for any pipe. (Please refer to the applicable range for usable pipe types.) Work efficiency is improved by reducing the number of parts and items, and uniform construction quality is achieved using a dedicated tightening tool. The in-core is pre-built (fixed) in the fitting, so there is no need to worry about water leakage due to forgetting to attach the in-core.
