About This Product

■Product overview

The CS conversion socket allows you to convert copper pipes for construction into stainless steel pipes for general plumbing by inserting pipes into both ends and pressing with a special tightening tool. It is said that with the spread of stainless steel piping and resin piping, construction work using architectural copper piping is decreasing significantly. However, when looking at stock piping, the proportion of copper piping is still high, and the frequency of renewal work is increasing accordingly. However, when cutting existing copper pipes and switching to stainless steel pipes, it is necessary to solder a male adapter to the copper pipe side. Soldering existing piping is a time-consuming process because it is difficult to secure an appropriate work space such as at a high place or in a narrow space, there is a risk of fire due to the use of open flames, and pre-treatment such as draining is required. I'll put it away. The CS conversion socket solves the problem of switching from existing copper piping to stainless steel piping during renovation work.

■Structure

A heat-resistant rubber ring (butyl rubber, IIR) is loaded into the curled part at the end of the all-stainless steel (SUS304) fitting body. On the architectural copper pipe side, by inserting a pipe with a copper in-core attached to the end of the pipe to the appropriate position and pressing it with a special tightening tool, uniform and sufficient strength and watertightness can be obtained. ■Features

Ideal for renewal work from existing copper piping to stainless steel piping. 1.Soldering is not required and uniform joining is possible. 2. Dedicated tightening tool (rechargeable type available) significantly reduces work time. 3.No flame is used and there is no need for pre-treatment such as draining.

■Scope of application

CS conversion socket is an item that can convert copper pipes for construction (JIS H 3300) to stainless steel pipes for general plumbing (JIS G 3448). Five sizes are available: 15A (copper tube side) x 13Su (SUS side), 20A x 20Su, 25A x 25Su, 32A x 30Su, and 40A x 40Su.
