About This Product

■Product overview

EG joint is a one-touch fitting that connects pipes easily. Do you have any problems like this? 1) Construction must be done tomorrow. Suddenly, the location was decided... 2) Construction space is not available. The piping space is narrow, making it difficult to use pipe wrenches and press tools. 3) The construction period is fast approaching. This is a rush project and we have to meet the deadline... Immediate response is required due to problems with piping or sudden changes in specifications. EG joint solves these problems.

■Features

The catchphrase for the one-touch joint ``EG Joint'' is ``Connect in 2 seconds.'' (1) No special tools required: There is no need for any joining tools that require time-consuming procurement and maintenance. (2) Space-saving construction possible: No power supply, fire, or tools are required, so a large space is not required for construction. (3) Speedy construction: Joining is completed simply by inserting the pipe into the joint body, greatly reducing work time. These features make it ideal for new construction work, renovation work, and rush work with a short construction period. *EG joints include [Su type], which is compatible with stainless steel pipes for general piping (JIS G 3448), and [A type], which is compatible with stainless steel pipes for piping (JIS G 3459).

■Structure

A rubber ring (EPDM) is attached to the innermost part of the stainless steel (SCS13/SUS304 equivalent) fitting body, and by inserting the pipe (applicable pipe) to the appropriate position, a watertight effect can be obtained. In addition, the edge built into the holder inside the fitting body bites into the pipe surface, exerting a pull-out prevention force.
