About This Product

■Summary

An open/close detection sensor uses a magnet to integrate open/close detection function and door holding function. It is also called a magnetic adsorption type door switch or a magnetic catch with switch. There are two types of open/close detection sensors: NC (normally closed) type, which turns the switch ON when the door opens, and NO (normal open) type, which turns OFF the switch when the door opens, and includes a magnet, yoke, reed switch, and iron plate that is attracted to the magnet. It consists of For the NC type, the reed switch contacts remain open (switch OFF) when the door is closed. When the door opens, the magnetic control closes the reed switch contacts (switch ON). On the other hand, the NO type allows the reed switch contact to be closed (switch ON) even when the door is closed. When the door opens, the magnetic control opens the reed switch contacts (switch OFF).
