About This Product

Studs can be attached using the press-fit method. The base material surface on the flange side is finished beautifully and flatly. By press-fitting the lower neck knurling part of the KALEI press stud into the base material using an existing pneumatic or hydraulic press, the rotation of the stud is prevented, and the metal flow into the groove prevents the stud from coming off. After press-fitting, there will be no protrusions on the surface of the mounting plate, resulting in a flat finish.

■How to press in a press stud

①Set the base material on the lower mold. ②Set the press stud into the prepared hole in the base material. ③Use a press machine to sink the flange of the press stud into the base material using appropriate pressure force. Press stud test conditions

■Indentation strength

・Base material: SPCC, A5052-H34 (minimum plate thickness) ・Jig prepared hole diameter A: D dimension x 2

■Torque test used

・Base material: SPCC, A5052-H34 (minimum plate thickness) ・Fixing plate: SK3 (HRC40 or more) ・Washer: Small stainless steel
