About This Product

By press-fitting M8 to M12 nuts, you can obtain the same strong fixing force as welded nuts.

■Summary・By pressing part of the hexagonal body of the KALEI SG nut into the base material using an existing pneumatic or hydraulic press, rotation of the nut is prevented.
- Metal flow to the groove under the neck prevents the nut from coming off.
・KALEI SG nuts can be press-fitted on both the punch side and press side of the base material.
・Because it is press-fitted, there is no need for post-treatment such as spatter treatment or anti-rust treatment as with welded nuts.
・Used for parts made of aluminum parts, power bus bars made of copper parts, etc.

By press-fitting a part of the hexagonal body of the KALEISG nut into the base material using an existing pneumatic or hydraulic press, rotation of the nut is prevented, and metal flow into the groove under the neck prevents the nut from coming off. KALEISG nuts can be installed by press-fitting on both the punch side and press side of the base material.

Since it is press-fitted, there is no need for post-treatment such as spatter treatment or anti-corrosion treatment as with welded nuts. It is used for parts made of aluminum parts, power bus bars made of copper parts, etc.

■How to press-fit the SG nut① Drill a pilot hole in the base material. (Prepared hole shape: round hole)
②Set the SG nut into the prepared hole in the base material.
③Use a press machine to sink the hexagonal part of the SG nut into the base material using appropriate pressure force.
④High adhesion force is obtained by allowing the base material to flow into the groove.
