About This Product

KALEI press fasteners are press-fit fasteners that can be press-fitted from one side and are not suitable for thin plates or welding We offer fasteners that provide high installation strength even on base materials, and fasteners that are ideal for preventing loosening of vibrating parts.

M3 to M6 nuts can be installed with low pressure input, and high torque and high pulling force can be obtained by press-fitting a part of the body and metal flow.

■Summary- Prevents rotation of the nut by press-fitting part of the hexagonal body of the KALEI ST nut into the base material using an existing pneumatic or hydraulic press.
- Metal flow to the groove under the neck prevents the nut from coming off.
・KALEI ST nuts can be press-fitted on both the punch side and press side of the base material.

By press-fitting a part of the hexagonal body of the KALEI ST nut into the base material using an existing pneumatic or hydraulic press, rotation of the nut is prevented, and metal flow into the groove under the neck prevents the nut from coming off.

KALEI ST nuts can be installed by press-fitting on both the punch side and press side of the base material.

■High torque because it sinks, and prevents it from coming off because it flows in.・Sinking: The hexagonal body sunk into the base metal prevents the ST nut from rotating.
・Flowing in...The base material flowing into the groove prevents the ST nut from coming off.

■How to press in ST nut① Drill a pilot hole in the base material. (Prepared hole shape: round hole)
②Set the ST nut into the prepared hole in the base material.
③Use a press machine to sink the hexagonal part of the ST nut into the base material using appropriate pressure force.
④High adhesion force is obtained by allowing the base material to flow into the groove.

■Total height tolerance range (reference value)・We recommend controlling the press-fitting work using the sinking allowance, but as a reference, read the total height from the total height tolerance table and use it as a guideline for the press-fitting work.
・The overall height is the same regardless of the press-fitting direction (punch side press-fitting, die side press-fitting).
