About This Product

■Cyclone filter that can significantly reduce maintenance

Cyclone filters do not use filter cartridges, so there is no need to worry about replacing filter cartridges when they become clogged. Basic maintenance is only to remove impurities such as sand and dirt that have accumulated in the drain port. A cyclone filter removes solids with a specific gravity of 1.8 or more and a size of 40μm or more from raw water. (Removal rate varies depending on solid material conditions such as specific gravity and size and water flow rate)

- Efficiently removes solids with a specific gravity of 1.8 or higher and 40μm or higher. ・No clogging like filter cartridges and no need for replacement. - Efficiently removes sand, mud, metal chips, sludge, etc. from raw water. - Suitable for use in removing solids of 40μm or more from well water, river water, factory water, etc. ・Basic maintenance is only required to remove solids that have accumulated in the drain port, which can greatly reduce maintenance work. ・A wide range of models are available, from small flow rates (30L/min) to large flow rates (1,343L/min). (*) A cyclone filter that can pass water up to a maximum flow rate of 42,400L/min is also available as a special order.

■Flow of water

The water flows through the cyclone filter and flows in a swirling manner due to its flow rate. During this process, solid matter such as sand, dirt, and mud with a specific gravity of 1.8 or more and a size of 40 μm or more collides with the inner wall of the cyclone filter due to centrifugal force, spreads, and settles. The settled solids accumulate in the drain port at the bottom of the cyclone filter. Separated and removed impurities such as sand, dirt, and mud accumulate in the drain port and are discharged by opening and closing the installed drain valve. In addition, the water from which sand, dirt, mud, etc. have been removed flows out through the inner cylinder of the cyclone filter.
