About This Product

■Filtration fiber Zetamax that removes impurities with zeta potential

Zetamax is a special filtration fiber with a positive zeta potential (positive charge). It removes turbidity components and fine particles that have a negative zeta potential (=negative charge) in the liquid, such as bacteria, viruses, proteins, colloid particles, pigments, water-soluble materials, cutting oil, etc., ranging from submicron order to tens of nanometers. It is adsorbed and filtered from the liquid. The surfaces of many of the turbid components and fine particles such as bacteria, viruses, proteins, colloidal particles, pigments, water-soluble substances, and cutting oil in liquids are negatively charged (negatively charged). Zetamax has a positive zeta potential (positive charge) in the liquid, and due to the potential difference with those substances that are negatively charged in the liquid, it is able to eliminate bacteria, viruses, proteins, colloidal particles, pigments, and oil in the liquid. It can be used as a filtration material to adsorb and remove turbid components and fine particles. In addition, maintenance is basically just replacing the filter media, and the adsorption by zeta potential is strong, so there is no leakage of adsorbed substances to the downstream side.

■Notes

・The usable pH range is a guideline. Depending on the liquid quality, it may not be possible to use it even within the above pH range, or the adsorption function may not work properly. ・Depending on the charge, size, amount, liquid temperature, liquid quality, etc. of the target to be adsorbed, it may not be possible to remove it by adsorption, so please conduct a test in advance. (*A simple test kit (syringe set) is available to check whether adsorption removal is possible in advance.) ・The operating temperature is basically room temperature. If using at other liquid temperatures, please conduct a test in advance. ・If a large amount of fine particles are included, the fine particles may cause clogging. (If there are many particles larger than 5 μm, we recommend installing a pre-treatment filter.) ・Do not use this product for anything other than industrial purposes. Do not use for medicine, food, beverages, etc. - When used for a long period of time, the strength of the filter may decrease due to aging of the resin. (The degree of deterioration varies depending on the type and quality of liquid, temperature, and pressure.)
