About This Product

One common cause of unplanned downtime in belt-driven machinery is pulley misalignment. Inadequate centering of pulleys can lead to pulley and belt wear, increase noise and vibration levels, and result in unplanned downtime. Another negative effect of vibration generation is premature bearing failure. This also causes unplanned downtime.

■Conventional belt centering method

A visual method using a ruler or thread, or a combination thereof. Although it can be done quickly, it is less accurate.

■Laser belt centering method

A faster and more accurate method than conventional methods using a laser belt centering device. The belt centering device allows centering of the pulley side or pulley groove.

■Advantages of accurate pulley and belt centering:
