About This Product

As air pollution has become a social issue, harmful gases such as SOx (sulfur oxides), NOx (nitrogen oxides), and HCl (hydrogen chloride gas) emitted from business establishments are subject to strict regulations. Drawing on the extensive know-how and delivery track record we have accumulated over the past 40 years as an "exhaust gas treatment expert," we provide custom design, installation, and after-sales service for exhaust gas treatment equipment that meets increasingly sophisticated needs.

■Exhaust gas denitrification equipment

NOx (nitrogen oxides) is generated from boilers, diesel engines, gas turbines, etc. and causes acid rain and photochemical smog. Currently, the "dry ammonia catalytic reduction method (SCR method)" is the mainstream method for reducing NOx due to its economic efficiency and reliability. Our company has a wealth of know-how gained from numerous deliveries.

■Performance

・Denitrification efficiency: 90%~ ・Exhaust gas temperature: 200-500℃ ・Outlet residual ammonia: 5ppm or less

■Applications

Denitration of exhaust gas from gas engines, gas turbines, diesel engines, heavy oil/coal-fired boilers, kilns, nitric acid plants, chemical reaction equipment, etc.

■Principle

・NH3 (ammonia) is added to exhaust gas containing NOx, passed through a catalyst layer, and reduced to harmless nitrogen (N2), while at the same time oxidizing hydrogen to water (H2O). ・There are various reactions depending on the type of NOx, but NOx in exhaust gas is generally mostly NO, and the required amount of NH3 to be added is approximately equivalent to the amount of NOx to be reduced.

■Structure

In the catalyst layer, the required number of catalyst modules, which are bundles of 150 x 150 mm honeycomb catalysts, are arranged according to the amount of gas and amount of reduced NOx. Denitrification towers are placed vertically or horizontally depending on the characteristics of the flue gas, the arrangement before and after the equipment, and the installation space. We also design the gas flow optimally according to the conditions, such as downward, upward, or horizontal flow.

■Features

・Automatically controls the amount of NH3 added according to the gas load to economically process NOx. ・Stable performance over the long term by selecting the optimal catalyst for the gas composition and usage conditions. -Easy maintenance.
