-In recent years, the quality of cover concrete has been attracting attention as it has a major impact on the durability of concrete structures.
-Many methods have been proposed to evaluate the quality of cover concrete, and air permeability testing is one of them.
・Although the air permeability test is affected by the moisture content of concrete, it is expected to be a method that can relatively easily evaluate the mass transfer resistance of the concrete surface layer through microscopic and non-destructive testing.
・Meanwhile, we have obtained a patent* for an air permeability test method using a cylinder, which allows us to evaluate the density of the surface layer of concrete using inexpensive equipment.
