・Product number: MIS-233-1-63 - This is a testing machine that can reproduce the phenomena that occur in the ground during landslides and slope failures and measure the residual strength of the soil. ・The ring-shaped specimen is placed in a shear ring that is divided into upper and lower parts, and the upper part is fixed while applying vertical stress. ・In this state, perform shearing with the rotating lower part to determine the shear strength and deformation characteristics of the soil. ・Since it is possible to cause extremely large deformations that exceed the maximum shear strength, it is particularly suitable for measuring the residual strength of overconsolidated clay, which is important when considering large deformations of the ground over a long period of time (such as landslides).
