About This Product

■Wind pressure performance series tailored to various uses

In recent years, many buildings have been damaged by strong winds due to the occurrence of larger typhoons and abnormal weather. Among these, ceilings installed outside buildings such as eaves and pilotis are directly affected by wind, so it is necessary to design the ceiling base according to the installation location. At Sanyo Kogyo, we offer ceiling base materials that suit a variety of conditions, from general wind-resistant ceilings that use hanging bolts to earthquake-resistant and wind-resistant ceilings that can protect against both wind and earthquakes.

■SICS wind pressure resistance

This is a wind pressure resistant steel base assembly that further expands the applicable range of SICS. Can be used on ceilings that are subject to pressure, such as outdoors. A base assembly for outdoor ceilings with wind pressure resistance.

■Features

・Feature 1: Metal base material with excellent nonflammability and durability. Not only surface finishing materials such as plasterboard, but also base materials can be made non-combustible. ・Feature 2: Components are manufactured at a JIS certified factory using the latest equipment. The parts have high dimensional accuracy and are of high quality. ・Feature 3: Each component can be installed using simple tools. Because the components are lightweight, construction is easy, and the construction period can be shortened, making it economical. Specifications for wind pressure resistant ceiling base materials

■Format: Standard/plate thickness, bolt diameter

・Double edge: JIS G3302 (Hot-dip galvanized steel plate and steel strip) Equivalent or higher than SGCC Z12/t=0.5mm - Edge support: JIS G3302 (hot-dip galvanized steel plate and steel strip) Equivalent or higher than SGCC Z12/t=1.6mm ・Wind pressure clip: JIS G3302 (hot dip galvanized steel plate and steel strip) Equivalent or higher than SGCC Z12/t=1.6mm ・Hanger with screws H75: JIS G3302 (Hot-dip galvanized steel plate and steel strip) Equivalent or higher than SGCC Z12/t=2.0mm - Suspension bolt: JIS G3505 (mild steel wire rod) Equivalent to or higher than SWRM/I type W3/8', II type W4/8'
