About This Product

■Summary

Silicate paint for wood facades Lignosil Color is a silicate inorganic paint for wood siding. Protects wooden facades from harsh weather conditions and increases their durability. A very economical wood coating system with vibrant colors and a beautiful appearance. We have obtained a European patent and received the Innovation Award at the environmental fair Oekfoire 2016. An opaque mineral matte finish. Stable color continues. ・Excellent moisture resistance ・UV stability, light resistance ・Durability, weather resistance ・Relaxing matte finish ・Easy and economical to repair

■Application

- Exterior wood siding. exterior wood. -This paint cannot be used on floors or roofs.

■Painting

・Brush ・Brush ·roller ・Airless spray After performing the base treatment with Lignosil base, apply Lignosil color.

■Conventional organic wood coatings have a lifespan of 3 to 7 years

Traditional wood coatings based on plastic-based raw materials are designed to reduce moisture penetration and minimize lignin destruction by UV light. However, the UV resistance of such organic coatings does not last very long. First the hue and gloss change, then the binder deteriorates. The coating becomes brittle due to reduced elasticity and will crack or flake off, losing its protective effect. Moisture penetrates the exposed areas where the coating has peeled off, increasing the shrinkage and movement of the wood and accelerating the corrosion process. The lifespan of conventional wood coatings is approximately 3 to 7 years, depending on quality and load. As long as you continue to choose paints based on organic raw materials, you will continue to have to accept drawbacks such as limited UV resistance and high maintenance costs.

■Lignosil color...

Even after 7 years of painting, the surface is still so clean. The paint film does not swell, crack, or peel off. The calm mineral matte finish remains unchanged even after years of use, and the color remains stable. It also has excellent moisture resistance, increasing the durability of the facade. Therefore, you don't have to worry about repainting after just a few years.
