About This Product

■Summary

Concrete Black creates a unique and powerful accent on the façade. Opens a new dimension to concrete design and emphasizes the natural beauty of concrete. Mineral matte finish. ■About the product

Opaque dark black sol-silicate paint for concrete

■Scope of application

This paint is for designing concrete surfaces. The use of carefully selected black pigments results in an aesthetically strong black finish. Protect from the weather. Not suitable for roofs, horizontal surfaces on exterior walls, and floors. It can also be used indoors.

■Main characteristics of the product

・Binder base: combination of silica sol and water glass ("Sol-Silicate") ・UV stable ・Mineral mat ・Dark black with 5 different nuances ・Nonflammable

■Painting conditions

The air temperature and substrate temperature must be at least +5℃ and maximum 30℃. Relative humidity up to 80%. Paint only in dry climates. Do not paint under strong direct sunlight, when the substrate is hot due to sunlight, or in strong winds. Protect painted surfaces from rapid drying, wind and rain.

■Drying time

Allow at least 12 hours drying time. If pre-treated with Kaim Silangrund, the first coat must be applied approximately 4 hours later.

■Amount used (Number of coatings: 2 times):

・Concrete black: approx. 0.38 kg / m2 ・Concretal Fixative (special diluent): approx. 0.02 l / m2 The amounts used above are guidelines when painting on smooth surfaces. The exact number can only be determined by preparing and painting the area on the actual substrate.
