About This Product

■Summary

DIESEL,EFI engines return a percentage (%) of the supplied fuel depending on the engine rotational speed (RPM). The return fuel is normally cooled and returned to the fuel tank. Efficiently cooling the temperature of the return fuel and removing air bubbles is an important factor, along with the reading accuracy/reproducibility of the fuel flow meter, in improving the measurement accuracy of engine fuel consumption. In the conventional measurement method, two flowmeters are installed, one on the engine supply side and one on the engine return side, and consumption is calculated by subtracting the flowmeters on the supply and return sides. It has been verified that this method causes large potential errors during idling and low speed rotation (RPM). For example, if the accuracy of each flowmeter is 1%, if the supply amount is 100L/HR and the return amount is 90L/HR, there will be a potential error of 1.0L/HR on the supply side and 0.9L/HR on the return side. It will be. Therefore, when measured using this method, the potential error due to the actual consumption of 10L/HR is 19%. MODEL 370 level controller uses a single flow meter to recirculate the return amount from the engine to this level controller, eliminating potential error during idling/low speed rotation and achieving full throttle control. It is designed to measure fuel consumption with high accuracy. Gasoline typically contains components with low boiling points, such as propane and butane. This makes it easy for air bubbles to naturally form in the fuel lines, especially on hot days. If these air bubbles are not completely removed before passing through the flow meter, they will cause flow measurement errors. This bubble removal is important if you want accurate and precise fuel consumption measurements.
