About This Product

■What is Cerajet?

A device that improves the adhesion of wheels and rails by accurately injecting a small amount of ceramic particles between the wheels and rails at high speed and with high efficiency.

■Applies shot blasting technology.

The most reliable method of supplying particulate material harder than the wheels and rails to the contact area between wheels and rails.

■Idling prevention

Prevents wheels from spinning due to rain, snowfall, fallen leaves, insects, etc. in slope areas. It is especially effective in preventing spinning caused by rain during the rainy season and winter, and falling leaves in the fall.

■Slip prevention

Prevents skidding in vehicles that are not equipped with a skid detection device and prevents the braking distance from extending.

■Prevention of flat wheel treads

Since sliding is reduced, it can be expected to prevent flat treads caused by wheels sticking.

■Ensuring sufficient braking distance

It is possible to maintain almost the same emergency braking distance even in rainy weather as in sunny weather, further improving safety in emergencies.

■Applications

It is used in many trains, diesel cars, and JR freight locomotives of the Kyushu Shinkansen, Taiwan Shinkansen, JR conventional lines and private railway companies, including the 500 series, 700 series, and N700 series Nozomi.
