About This Product

■IoT gateway that allows you to easily create an internet connection environment by using SIM

By using a SIM card, "MR-GM5L" allows you to create a mobile broadband environment without the need for a fixed line. Ideal for securing temporary internet connections at event venues, construction sites, etc., and for securing internet connections in places where fixed lines cannot be connected, such as digital signage and surveillance cameras. Main usage

■Digital signage internet connection router

As a router for Internet connection of digital signage, you can easily create a stable operating environment by installing an LTE connection SIM without installing an optical line.

■Router for remote connection to surveillance cameras

As a router for remote connection to surveillance cameras, you can easily create a stable operating environment by installing an LTE connection SIM without installing an optical line. Functional features

■Equipped with LTE/3G compatible communication module

By using a SIM card, you can connect to the Internet without the need for line construction. Operation has been confirmed with SIM cards from major communication carriers such as NTT Docomo, KDDI, Softbank, and Rakuten Mobile, as well as MVNO operators. You can select/change the optimal plan according to your purpose of use and communication volume.

■Supports various WAN side lines

In addition to the built-in communication module, USB type mobile data cards and wired broadband lines can also be used as WAN side lines. It also supports a line redundancy function that combines the above connection modes.

■Line redundancy function (cold standby method/hot standby method) supported

It is possible to set the primary connection and secondary connection and switch the connection when line monitoring fails. Communication can continue even when a line failure occurs. It supports a cold standby method that switches the WAN side connection mode when a line failure occurs, and a hot standby method that makes two types of WAN side connections at the same time and switches the gateway when a line failure occurs.

■Functions to achieve stable operation

Equipped with a "line monitoring function" to monitor the communication status of the Internet line. You can monitor the line status by periodically checking the response using PING or HTTP access to the set destination. If no response is received, the connection status is restored by reconnecting the line or restarting the communication module. In addition, it is equipped with a "timer restart function", so it is possible to restart according to a fixed schedule. Stable operation is possible even in unattended environments.
