About This Product

■New material for electrical steel sheets developed by leveraging our own know-how

・Developing new materials from scratch, including mold design, material development, and press evaluation. Confirmed effectiveness in processing electrical steel sheets ・Exhibits a wear suppression effect of 34% or more compared to VM-40 equivalent material, which is often used for processing electrical steel sheets. Contributes to reducing mold maintenance frequency

■Trial using high-grade materials from domestic manufacturers

・Confirmed wear resistance and chipping resistance for domestic manufacturer material [Nippon Steel: thin HIEX core (t0.3mm)] after 5 million shots ・Exhibits good machining performance even in high-grade electromagnetic steel sheet presses - Compatible with a wide range of electromagnetic steel sheets using two materials: "RET35", which has a well-balanced combination of wear resistance and impact resistance, and "FET04", which has excellent wear resistance. point

■Available for various grades and thicknesses of automotive motors, consumer motors, etc.

With RET35, a fine-grained cemented carbide, and FET04, a fine-grained cemented carbide, it is possible to flexibly select materials according to the hardness and strength of the electrical steel sheet material: RET35 for high-load applications, and FET04 for low-load applications.

■Excellent wear resistance

By pursuing the WC particle size, binder phase amount, and additive amount that are suitable for electromagnetic steel sheet materials and suppressing wear during processing, the amount of regrinding is reduced. Effectively contributes to reducing mold maintenance frequency.

■Excellent electrical processing resistance

It has excellent resistance to electrical machining, and even electrically machined parts have almost the same wear resistance as polished parts. This expands the options for processing methods and leads to cost reductions.
