About This Product

Measuring the “concentration” in liquid

■Features

・Can be attached to a tank or piping to directly and continuously measure the concentration of a sample ・Using a unique optical system, sample concentration can be measured from low to high concentration ranges without changing the range. ・It has a structure that minimizes the effects of dirt, air bubbles, and external light caused by the sample. ・The light guide part (wetted part) of the sensor is compatible with steam sterilization at 121℃. ・There are no consumables, so it can be used for a long time. Measurement principle

■Transmitted light type

When laser light is converted into scattered light and transmitted through a turbid liquid, the laser light is attenuated due to the "turbidity". Turbidity is measured from the amount of attenuation of transmitted light that passes through the liquid. Suitable for samples in low concentration range.

■Reflected light type

In the case of a liquid that does not allow light to pass through, such as sludge, when irradiating it with laser scattering light, there is some reflected light that is reflected back from the suspended material. Turbidity is measured from the intensity of this reflected light. Suitable for samples in high concentration areas.
