About This Product

■Setting a new standard in communications and providing the convenience of reliable plant and field-based level measurement systemsThe dBi HART Series Transducer is a low power device with Pulsar Measurement's DATEM echo processing capability for robust and reliable measurements capable of measuring levels from 125mm to 15m depending on the units selected. Integration with plant systems and other equipment is easy.

The dBi HART series uses standard PLC industry protocols, making it easy to configure and calibrate the device. Pulsar Measurement's software or on-site multidrop setup provides the option to program the transducer using standard interfaces or Pulsar Measurement's programming parameters.

■Formats compatible with applicationsThe dBi HART series is available in a variety of formats designed to fit application needs. Options include foam faces, submerged shields, and front thread types for use in solid applications.

■Functional qualitydBi transducers with HART use the HART version 7 protocol with loop power (3.8-22mA), IP68 for outdoor use, temperature compensation for higher accuracy, and individually addressable transducers. Alternatively, it can be programmed as a standalone device using a handheld calibrator or PC and operated as a low-power measurement device using HART as the data collection mechanism.

A cold boot takes about 8 seconds, and using a typical 15 minute boot interval (warm boot) it takes about 3.5 seconds.
