About This Product

■Summary

Certified to Carbon Trust Level 3, the RPS Lidar 3.5 buoy provides stable and reliable offshore wind measurements even in harsh environments. The robust construction and single-point mooring are designed based on decades of experience measuring cyclonic weather. A completely self-contained power system equipped with a small wind turbine, solar panels, and auxiliary battery, so no fuel supply is required. Furthermore, we have built a dual system for power, communication, and data recording in case of inadequacies, ensuring that customer data is reliably transmitted while achieving carbon neutrality.

■Data security

All raw data is transmitted daily from the buoy using two-way satellite communication methods such as short burst data services, broadband, and 4G. Additionally, we have a highly reliable RPS M200 data logger that records large amounts of data, and we have a dual system to ensure that raw data can be backed up with two units. In addition, to prevent theft, we have installed seven cameras and adopted security bolts that require special tools.
