About This Product

■Summary

This is a product that configures a reduced-wiring system by connecting a high-speed serial communication master board and multiple slaves that combine selected functional modules such as motor control and DIO with a general-purpose LAN cable. Since it is a module assembly method, it is possible to configure a control configuration with just the right specifications for the system, and even when additional specifications arise, it is easy to expand by adding modules or slaves. The motion module can be connected to a wide variety of pulse train type motor drivers. If a communication master board is installed on the PC, slaves can be placed and used up to 50m using LAN cables, making it possible to perform batch control at distributed points on the production line. It is also possible to place a slave in the control box of each unit, operate and adjust it individually, and then combine the units to assemble the device. The operation method is based on commands and statuses similar to our CPD series motion boards, and it can be started up in a short period of time after adoption. Multi-axis linear interpolation (MAX 32 axes) on the same line is also supported. *motionCAT products use the fieldbus Motionnet standard, which is compliant with the international SEMI standard.
