About This Product
Using a new measurement route (patent pending), it is possible to simultaneously obtain measurement results for the same sample using the reductive vaporization method and the reductive vaporization-gold amalgam method. You can check it here. It is also possible to perform independent measurements using only the reductive vaporization method.
■Principle
This system can measure mercury in liquid samples using the reductive vaporization method, just like the MD-700A, and can also measure mercury using two methods: a combination of the reductive vaporization method and the gold amalgam method. In the reductive vaporization-gold amalgam method, atomic mercury generated by the reductive vaporization method is collected by forming an amalgam in a mercury collection tube loaded with a mercury collection agent that supports gold on a diatomaceous earth particle carrier.
If the mercury collection tube is preheated at this time, measurement interfering gases in the sample gas will be exhausted, but mercury can be collected as an amalgam. Next, the retained mercury is released by heating and introduced into an absorption cell, where atomic absorption measurements are performed. This method uses a combination of reduction vaporization and gold amalgam methods to reduce the effects of gases that interfere with the measurement, making it possible to measure only mercury with high precision.
In this way, this system is a useful measurement method when higher analytical accuracy is required.
■Features
・By adopting the reduction vaporization-gold amalgam method, only mercury is collected in the mercury collection tube, and other interfering components are not collected and discharged. By heating this mercury collection tube and introducing mercury into the absorption cell, only mercury can be measured, making it possible to accurately measure only mercury even in samples that could not be measured due to the influence of interfering components with normal reduction vaporization methods. is.
・With a new measurement route (patent pending), it is possible to measure the reductive vaporization method on one sample and then perform the reductive vaporization-gold amalgam method measurement, making it possible to confirm the reliability of the reductive vaporization method measurement results. Masu.
・By switching the flow path of the new measurement path, it is possible to perform measurements using only the reduction vaporization method, so it is possible to shorten the measurement time if measurement using the reduction vaporization-amalgam method is not required.
■Applications
・Environment (water and sewage, river water, lake water, seawater, sediment, wastewater, soil acid elution solution, etc.), living organisms, living organisms (blood, urine, hair, etc.), samples, industrial products (RoHS-related substances, etc.) Fluorescent lights Measurement of mercury concentration in waste samples, etc.
・Measurement of mercury concentration, such as mercury quantification in back-extraction solutions from organic solvents to aqueous layers.
