Solving problems with viscosity measurement that could not be achieved with conventional measurement methods. The world's first new method, the EMS method, changes the common sense of viscometers.

■Features

The EMS viscometer is the world's first innovative viscometer with a new method that changed the common sense of viscosity measurement. By applying torque to the spherical probe inside the sample remotely from outside the sample container using the force of the magnetic field, we succeeded in completely separating the sample from the device. We provide software that allows anyone to easily use cutting-edge viscosity analysis technology, and spherical probes that can be selected according to sample properties, making it possible to apply it in a wide range of fields. It also supports measurement of small amounts and low viscosity, which was difficult to measure up until now. This product incorporates some of the development results obtained as part of the JST Advanced Measurement and Analysis Technology and Equipment Development Program. ■Easy to use GUI (Graphic User Interface) allows intuitive operation

You can check the measurement results, sample status, device status, and graphs plotting the measurement results on a single screen. The database's powerful search function makes it easy to compare data with previously acquired data.

■Spherical probes are available to match the properties of the measurement sample.

To achieve more accurate viscosity measurements, you can select a spherical probe according to the properties of your sample. ・Standard: Al φ2mm ・Low viscosity: Al Alloy φ1.5mm ・High viscosity: Al φ4.7mm ・Colored sample: Al φ4.7mm ・Corrosive sample: Tl φ5mm

■The world's smallest amount of sample, yet retrievable

・It is possible to measure samples that could not be evaluated due to insufficient sample volume using conventional methods. ・Since measurements can be performed without any contact between the sample and the device, valuable samples can be collected after measurement and used for other purposes. ・Required sample volume is 300μL with standard specifications. ・By using the optional small volume container, measurements can be performed with a minimum sample volume of 90 μL.

・0.1~1,000mPa・s (spherical probe φ1.5mm: option) ・0.1~100,000 mPa・s (spherical probe φ2mm) ・10~1,000,000 mPa・s (spherical probe φ4.7mm) ・100~100,000 mPa・s (Ti spherical probe φ5mm: option)
