About This Product

A refractive index standard solution for calibrating refractometers and saccharimeters. Used for calibrating digital refractometers. We offer refractive index standard solutions with a refractive index nD (at 20℃) of 1.33299~1.658**. Comes with our calibration certificate.

■Features

We are accredited under JCSS, which uses ISO/IEC 17025 as the accreditation standard and operates according to the accreditation scheme ISO/IEC 17011. The accreditation body (IAJapan) that operates JCSS has signed mutual recognition with the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). Our production headquarters is an international MRA-compliant JCSS certified business. JCSS 0115 is the certification number of our production headquarters. First in Japan to support international MRA. Certified as a JCSS calibration company for refractive index standard solutions and refractometers.

Kyoto Electronics Industry Co., Ltd. has been certified as a JCSS calibration company for refractive index standard solutions and refractometers in the density/refractive index business category. In addition, all JCSS calibration certificates issued by us are compatible with the international Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA). This is internationally recognized proof of the quality of your refractometer. We are the only JCSS-certified calibration company for refractive index standard solutions and refractometers in Japan that supports international MRA. Furthermore, the refractive index standard solution has been certified to comply with ISO 17034 in addition to ISO/IEC 17025 as a certified reference material (CRM) in the same way as the density standard solution. We can also issue certificates.

■Applications

Refractive index standard solutions are used to ensure the quality of digital refractometers. Digital refractometers are extremely easy to operate and are used in a wide range of fields, including food, chemistry, oils and fats, and pharmaceuticals, as they can analyze sample concentrations and components.
