Currently, the most common way to protect buildings and grounds from flooding due to heavy rain or river bursts is to pile up heavy sandbags filled with earth and sand, but this method requires a great deal of labor and time. Magic Dam MD-01 is a product that solves these problems. The main body sheet of Magicdom MD-01 has a completely waterproof structure made of polyester mesh fabric sandwiched between two polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheets. The partition fabric that connects the upper and lower sheets fixes the opening angle at approximately 27 degrees, so the raised sheets become a sturdy wall that can withstand water pressure. Additionally, the maximum height-to-depth ratio when the seat is open is 1:4, which means that the area of ​​the lower seat is sufficiently large, so the water pressure applied from above secures the seat to the ground. Furthermore, the three urethane lines on the bottom prevent slipping, and the weight of the metal plate in the mesh bag at the end prevents water from entering through the gaps. A urethane float is attached to the top edge, and as the water level rises, the seat edge also rises, preventing water from climbing over from above.
