The "light shielding automatic particle counting method" used in the PC series is a highly reliable measurement principle that has been supported for many years in various fields including industry. It is designed in accordance with the liquid particle measurement method defined in ISO21501-3 "Light-shielded liquid particle counter - calibration method and verification method", and is compatible with a variety of applications such as pure water and cleaning liquids. . The sample passing through the measuring section is irradiated with laser light, which casts a shadow on the photodiode ahead of it, which is then processed to determine the size of the contamination. The number of particles is counted for each particle size range and displayed on the LCD screen.

■Large flow rate (75ml/min) Reliably monitors “macro particles” by measuring total volume

A typical liquid particle counter measures microparticles in liquid at a low flow rate (about 20ml/min) and a small sampling amount. However, macroparticles larger than 10 µm that exist in low-viscosity liquids settle due to their own weight, settling and stagnating at the bottom of the liquid channel or tank, so they do not move easily at low flow rates and are difficult to measure. difficult to do. Furthermore, because macroparticles are concentrated at the bottom of the container, they cannot be captured using conventional cleanliness monitoring techniques based on conductivity or TOC concentration. With a large flow rate of 75ml/min, the PC series sucks up "macroparticles" that have settled or stagnated in low-viscosity liquids along with microparticles, monitoring quality risks caused by "macroparticles" that have not been able to be quantified until now.
