About This Product
This is a CAD/CAM system for ultra-precision processing of optical shapes. Aspheric lenses, free-form lenses, and various lens arrays are used in a variety of product fields and applications, such as copying machines, CD/DVD/BD equipment, optical communication devices, cameras, LCD screens, eyeglasses, lighting, and automotive electrical equipment. It can be used for products such as , Fresnel lenses, and light guide plates, as well as for processing their molds.
You can input design formulas for shapes, and perform tasks such as verifying, evaluating, and editing curved surfaces. You can create nano-level accurate NC data for ultra-precision machining from mathematical formulas, including edited data. It has a functional configuration specialized for ultra-precision processing of optical shapes, and has a wide range of processing functions necessary for such processing.
■System configuration
The configuration of Opt-1 can be freely customized by combining the basic grades of ``axis symmetry'', ``free-form surface'', and ``light guide plate'' and adding optional functions.
■Axis symmetry
System for aspherical surface processing machines: Creates axisymmetric curved surfaces (aspherical surfaces) and calculates machining paths.
■Free-form surface
System for free-form surface processing machines: Creates free-form surfaces and calculates machining paths.
■Light guide plate
System for light guide plate processing machine: Creates contours and calculates groove machining paths along arbitrary contours.
■Optional features

■Formula direct calculation
・Automatically create shapes by directly inputting optically designed formulas.
・The created shape retains the formula, and by directly calculating the formula during calculation, you can create error-free data.
■Processing functions specialized in ultra-precision
- Equipped with a dedicated CAM function specialized for bite tools and wheel tools.
- Can calculate paths for high precision mirror finishing such as grinding and shaper processing.
- Also, the NC program supports sub-nano (7 digits after the decimal point).
■Bite interference check
・When traveling along the created machining path, check whether interference will occur under the specified cutting tool conditions.
- If interference occurs, tool interference information (interference position/tool location) will be displayed in a list.
