■Mechanism

Gearboxes equipped with left and right motors and high-sensitivity sensors assist according to your body movements. As a result of examining the muscle activity of the back (erector spinae muscles) during a series of movements of lifting and lowering a load, assuming that it was 100% when not wearing ROBO, it was reduced by up to 42.8% (average 29.8 ± 9.8%) by wearing ROBO. *Verified by 5 healthy adult men lifting and lowering a 10kg load between the floor and a 70cm high platform.

■Measured value of pressure applied to the lumbar vertebrae

・The forward tilt angle when lifting from the floor was improved by 17.0 degrees to 52.2 degrees when wearing ROBO compared to 69.2 degrees when not wearing it, resulting in a 2.5 kg reduction in the instantaneous pressure load on the lumbar discs. ・The forward tilt angle when lowering the table from the desk to the floor was 68.0 degrees when not wearing it, but it was 54.4 degrees when wearing ROBO, an improvement of 13.6 degrees, so the instantaneous load pressure on the lumbar discs was reduced to 1.8 kg. decrease ・If lifting and lowering cargo is repeated 100 times over 5 days: (2.5kg+1.8kg) x 100 times x 5 days = 2,150kg (approximately 2.15 tons)
